Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que la phototh\u00e9rapie affecte l&#8217;activit\u00e9 cellulaire des mani\u00e8res suivantes\u00a0: stimule la croissance cellulaire, augmente le m\u00e9tabolisme cellulaire, am\u00e9liore la r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration cellulaire, invoque une r\u00e9ponse anti-inflammatoire, favorise la r\u00e9duction de l&#8217;\u0153d\u00e8me, r\u00e9duit la formation de tissu fibreux, stimule la fonction nerveuse, r\u00e9duit la production de substance P, stimule la production \u00e0 long terme d&#8217;oxyde nitrique (NO), diminue la formation de bradykinine, d&#8217;histamine et d&#8217;ac\u00e9tylcholine, stimule la production d&#8217;endorphines.<\/p><p><strong>Ces r\u00e9ponses photo-biologiques sont en grande partie responsables des
